"I haven't laughed this hard since the last time I played this game." That line gets said by at least one of us every time we play Telestrations.
Remember the game of Telephone, where a word or phrase gets passed from mouth to ear all the way around a circle of people? Telestrations is similar, except the word or phrase is drawn rather than whispered. Instead of telling you how it works or what can happen from beginning to end, we'll show you.

The instructions list two ways to score the game, but we haven't found it necessary. The fun is in the play and the reveal. The only reason replayability is a 9 instead of a 10 is that we usually need to recover between games. We do play it at least once every time we get together, especially with a large group. Up to 12 can play the party pack, but even those who don't participate can watch and enjoy the show.
We've rated visual appeal a little lower because, frankly, this isn't a box we would have picked up without first being introduced to it. Component quality is great for the most part. Our only quibble came with the markers and erasers, which seem a bit flimsy.
Minor details, though. If you're looking for a game that'll make you laugh, you've found it.
